Server OS stacks I have built
I have installed Windows Server 2019 with Hyper-V and Server backup roles, with a Powershell script that backs up all live virtual machines.
I have built various web-servers using Linux, Nginx, MariaDB and PHP, with PHPmyadmin installed, as well as FTP access.
How these are used at work
Windows Server 2019 is at present running on an HP Gen8 Microserver, with a Virtual Machine running Nextcloud, as well as the development area for Guildford Web Services clients.
On that server, is CODE Server, which allows you to edit files within the browser, as well as an instance of Windows 10, as all the physical computers are running Linux Mint.
I have set up the company network in such a way that I can remote access ILO (Integrated Lights Out) on the HP Microserver, as well as access via SSH/FTP/DRP to all the devices on the network.
My use of documentation
Every type of setup I have done for work can be found on The Company Wiki.
While my Personal Server’s documentation can be found here.
